A Queens County, New York father was denied his petition to modify child custody after the court found that he was unstable, as reported in a June 22nd, 2012 New York Law Journal article.

The father petitioned the court claiming that the mother was mentally and verbally abusing their child. The father requested the court grant him full custody rights based on these allegations. After a full forensic report was conducted on all parties involved, the court ruled that the father’s allegations were false. Additionally, the court found that the father’s behavior was actually irrational and that he showed “extremely poor judgment.” Based on these findings they ruled that the current child custody order would remain in effect.
